oy...honestly...i think i've given up....the sad thing...i gave up long ago. i.e. i had a midterm on monday and then a lab today...course, i didn't start the lab until after the midterm which was a huge mistake. and btw, we worked on that lab until about 2am on monday and 4am tuesday....*sigh*....blah. i really think i did give up though. course, i would really like to sit down and figure out what i did wrong but i'll likely give that the time of day after I can tell myself i passed finals. (yeah, like that'll ever happen!)
ARGH!
so....life in a nutshell? my academics are running rampant down some crazy wazoo (and when i say 'down'...i mean 'down')...
hence, the reason why i've been incredibly, incredibly evasive in the past couple days...my apologies!
*hangs head*
all right...now that i've moaped for a good part of this blog...some good news?
first, my housemates and friends (crazy kids!) went out on friday...and yes, they had some very spiffy attire going on there, i might add (*cough*justin*cough*jo*cough*) =) and being the non-drinker i am...i was coerced into going to o'grady's with my little chums. haha damn you all for cheering at the fact that i actually set foot outside the house on a friday night! HAH! er...hmm...*hangs head* =)
all in all? we were in and out in 45 min but it was a lot of fun! haha and yes, according to loquax, i actually DID have my first shooter that night. was i tipsy, disoriented, piggy-backed home? haha sorry, justin. michelle said i was actually NORMAL! HAH! (er...hmm..whatever that means....*scratches head*)
second, well...in retrospect, i did get rid of a midterm and a lab thus far this week, no? now...if only i had something to show for it....
third, *sigh* =) hey -- always good to know i have good friends...really....like..wow...i don't know how any of you put up with me....but thanks for doing that.
lastly....more labs and assignments await...and it's 4AM...*sigh* have i done anything all night? not at ALL....was working on a non-working lab until 7pm - ish? Then off to the design fair! Matt and I walked around looking at fourth-year design projects..some were very cool! Omar and Kyle did a spiffy mag-lev....someone did a CDMA and filtering scheme (matched, adapative, blind-adaptive filters, etc.), some friends from IBM implemented a Network Audio Protocol (NAP), a couple dude used bluetooth specs to create an optical pen/mouse that used wireless communication to replicate whatever they were writing/drawing, and Neil did a very cool crytography project (he used JCE but i think two other groups were using a C library for AES)... very neat though...haha think I'll ever make it that far? =)
off to bed or work.....only time will tell.
...........it's 4:08am. yeah, it told me to go to bed. *sigh* crud.
--- it can only go up from here....i hope. er...yes?
