So if you live your life in a three piece suit,
In a cocktail dress, or combat boots
You pick your path and you walk your truth
And the world will come round to you.

Pop the cork, a champagne glass
Raise to the future, drink to the past
Thank the Lord for the friends he cast,
In the play he wrote for you.

i also have an update for you all about my past weekend....which was...haha jam-packed with hilarous stuff that apparently only happens to me.

first, apparently the adventure is always in the journey TO whatever activity is planned rather than the actual activity.

let me just say that Screemers is a great place but getting there is a pain in the back-end server. First, 3 of us got on the bus but the driver rejected the fourth member of our trio. Thus, one of us (his gf) got off at the next stop to go back for him :) Course, to our great (mis)fortune, the bus we were on decides he wants to go out-of-service. GAUGH! which eventually ended up putting me and monty on a later bus than our other two friends. Arriving at Screemers would be easier IF we actually knew where the entrance was....haha and yes, it's ONE little door. no big banners or flags...just 2 booths to get tickets from and a tiny door. :) Inside, it's great! Random scary dudes walking around and screaming or blowing into your ear from behind you...course, there's also my fellow Future Bluers (about 17 of us) who insisted on partaking in the scaring too... the prize goes to suneil (aka the 'wassssaaap!' guy since it was er...rather...happy drunk that night and said WAASSAAAP to everyone about 50 times :)...following that would be jamie who set the scary dudes after me through the haunted house. *sigh* i should probably also give credit to the girls who jumped out and screamed to scare the living daylights out of priyanka and monty. ::lol::...when complimented on their scaring technique, their response was 'hehe we don't work here'.... *slaps forehead*

funny moment? jamie was telling me that when he left, there was an ambulance out front with a paramedic questioning one of the scarers, "now, think hard. are you sure you didn't hit her with the chainsaw?"....

*sigh*

saturday was also a lot of fun as it was filled with curling (not one of my fortes apparently but the company was beyond the best ;), badminton seeing kill bill, and then attempting to catch the remainder of the leafs-habs game (*grin*....1-0!!!)... i would add that i have absolutely no skill in taking the TTC. See, realizing you missed your spot and deciding to get off at the next stop to switch sides and turn around does not work when the next stop is the end of the line and the other platform is out of service. nono, don't ask.

sunday ...*beams* .... saw the lion king downtown! haha I forgot how funny it was and how amazing the animals in it were...seriously. Props to the elephant and the rhino :) Would have to say I loved Rafiki the most though....close in line comes Timon & Pumba....*grin*... to top it all off, a trip to cafe crepe ;) hey -- a banana-walnut-sugar crepe and a 3-scoop-a-la-mode version...need i say more? :)

and now...it's wednesday. i've been at work. *sigh*....someone get me outta here.
