So if you live your life in a three piece suit,
In a cocktail dress, or combat boots
You pick your path and you walk your truth
And the world will come round to you.

Pop the cork, a champagne glass
Raise to the future, drink to the past
Thank the Lord for the friends he cast,
In the play he wrote for you.

more random news at your service...

the lowdown? had a GREAT weekend...haha well the first half at least. I went snowboarding with Motorolans up in Horseshoe. Runs were good (I'm a beginner so small inclines make me happy!) and the snow was really fluffy (whoo! fresh snow!). The bad news is that I am a beginner meaning I don't know much and tend to fall on my ass quite a bit. Everything was soaked and I apparently even broke off the zipper of my Columbia jacket from a fall early in the morning. Narrr... Oh well! Still had a great time nonetheless with special thanks to Zippity for teaching me the ways of the trade and for not ditching me on the baby green hills for his blue square/black diamond runs :D

The second half of the weekend was of course spent in pain from the abused muscles of the snowboarding escapade. A little bit of work and a hell of a lot of sleep finished off the weekend....*sigh* :)

News for today? Went to Mongolian Grill (@ Market Village) for foodage with HR. Quite a few ppl from the lab are getting moved over to 3600 because we're low on space; hence, since HR aren't really developers, we're moving them out along with a bunch of other students and full-timers :( Narr.... I like those guys! So, we all had a nice 2 hour lunch to chat it up. Course, I was laughed at by Todd for using a fork while he was using chopsticks. *sigh* Since I couldn't be upstaged, I switched over to chopsticks and that that. *nods* (haha I should probably explain. See, Todd's Jamaican so I couldn't let him be more asian than me! Even if his gf is chinese! Gaugh!) Food == good and I especially liked dessert even though it was really just a taro slushy :)

Upcoming events? Might go and see the Butterfly Effect sometime since it looks good but, we'll see. Work still looks like a looming threat :(

On the whole, things aren't too too bad although it just so happened that BOTH my manager and HR sent me the comic below. Hrmm...I wonder if I should take the hint.
