holi crap --- i have to update my blog!

all right...hrmm...first things first.

wanted: study buddy. NEED to learn php. need someone to learn with me this weekend. more likely, need someone to make me sit there and not slack off like i've been doing. GAUGH! must must must get all future blue stuff done...aaaaauuugghhh!!!

hehe now...on for the updates...

i said i had a great birthday and i certainly did! so here's the story about the people who really really made my 21st birthday amazing :) (and yes, i know my birthday was 3 weeks ago...but quiet!)

.....a few weeks ago i got this meeting notice from our HR rep saying there was an urgent meeting i had to attend. course, this 'urgent' meeting was to take place 2 weeks from the day so needless to say, i was worried. jamie, being the devious villian he is, decided to scare the heck out of me by insinuating one of us was in trouble. *hangs head* so he and i try to guess what this 'urgent' meeting is about. what i didn't know was that he pretty much helped plan this entire meeting with a mastermind from ottawa. *sigh*....so i go to this meeting and low and behold...it's not a meeting for us team leads....
me: what the ----
20 ppl: SURPRISE!!!!
me: *blink...blink*...*looks at b-day cake*....*looks at 'i win' signs around the room*....*looks at speaker phone hooked into someone from ottawa*....*slaps forehead*....

*hangs head*

and yes, i don't know if i've ever blushed more....apparently i was the colour of shelly's shirt. .and yes, her shirt was a purpley-red. *sigh*.....

damn you, anthony! damn you, peter! and peter! and jamie!


and then..........there's the next bout :)

see, i was supposed to meet up with justin on my birthday for lunch. but, i didn't think he would have remembered my birthday.....YET....*sigh*...i come out of my house and there's my little posse, armed with cameras and all to catch my shocked expression given the mass "SURPRISE!!!"....*laugh*...wow, did i ever cower in the garage that day :)

and there was justin, mer, meesh, jason, patrick, and very special guest, steph(!!!) to make my day. Not to mention, some reallllyy good rosti and cake at your neighbourhood-friendly marche ;)

hehe am i still in shock? HELL yes. :D :D :D

is that all though? no! I gots my peeps who couldn't be with me (but proxied greetings!!): joycie, selvi, feng, and darren (who was more sneaky and tried to sneak my mini-mash through contacts in ibm internal) =) whoohooo!!!!

*sniffle* you guys are awesome! :) *wipes tear*

topping off the night? chinese dinner with gramma and a super-fun movie night with my old pal, jon, who finally decides to talk to me again after years and years of separation. *laugh*

all in all....i'm just really happy...i don't think i've ever had so many people do so much for me and it's just...sweet :) all of you seriously made my birthday in more ways than you know :)
