Just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone that read my blog and made me feel way way better than before :) hehe You all know who you are and if you're reading this blog, you're probably one of them ;) Times like this i'm really glad I have such an amazing group of friends...*sigh* :D
as for a slight update, i did end up destressing on the weekend by going to visit zippity for a day, chillin with some peeps from u(t) to watch the sens-leafs (0-2) playoff game at shoeless joe's, and catching up with an old friend from high school over coffee and a crepe. haha course, I also worked in some family time as I challenged my brother and i to each bike up and down the street with a waterballoon in our pocket (yes, the asian rendition of 'jackass' -- quiet you!). Unfortunately, there was no damage in the ride except laughing at each other since if any of the balloons popped, it would be quite the sight to explain. eventually, we pulled over and decided to play catch with the balloons. I tossed and it popped beside my brother's feet. Luckily, one left! So we did a couple overhands and uh....yeah...it popped in MY hands and decided that it would soak half my body with it. GAUGH! Great. So we're stuck outside in the cold and windy afternoon weather and i'm soaked with my brother laughing uncontrollably a few feet away. *sigh*....now...how to explain it to the parents....uh.....
(abridged)
me: mommy, i biked through a sprinkler....and there was a big bird who uh..had to go poo and....i was sweating profusely on one side of my body.
mommy: where's the sprinkler.
me: *points down the street*
mommy: *looks down the street*
me: *holding back laughter while switching arms and pointing down the other end of the street*
dad: *sees me laughing* why do you even believe her? just look at her!
...later....
mommy: so when were you two playing with water balloons?
me: when we were playing on the front lawn *hangs head*
brother: yeah she was just tossing that balloon up in the air and trying to catch it with her mouth. i had no idea what she was trying to do. *shrugs and walks away*
Gaugh! that punk. and damn you, zippity for calling me a 3-year-old! :P
and that concludes my festivities for now....thank you -- come again! :)
