So if you live your life in a three piece suit,
In a cocktail dress, or combat boots
You pick your path and you walk your truth
And the world will come round to you.

Pop the cork, a champagne glass
Raise to the future, drink to the past
Thank the Lord for the friends he cast,
In the play he wrote for you.

*sigh*...

and now...pressure's on :(

I have a plethora of stuff to do at work and I just don't want to anymore. Why? what's wrong with me? I don't hate my job at all right now but I just want to get away from bug defects and java. Maybe I need to run around the building or something...gaugh! I know self-motivation is key but a little outside help is needed sometimes...*sigh*

I also have a MASS amount of stuff to do for Future Blue which I'm trying to do now...let's see, follow-up/regroup and assess status of each project + where to go from here, write up my part of the newsletter, update the site, moderate + update forums (which I haven't done in a while and I feel bad about), write up my article about my interview with the lab director (that was like a MONTH ago! gaugh!), policies + procedures to write up, etc....*siiiiggghhh*

On top of it all, I have miscellaneous things to look into like my G exit test and housing and design project. Plus, I have to find me a job for next year and the problem is ...
1. No one will hire me
2. I don't know where I want to be in a year. A couple of you may or may not know that it's really been a semi-dream of mine to head over to Seattle (if they'll take me) but even if I can, do I even want to go there? I don't think IBM likes me very much.. :(

:) I'm really looking forward to moving back downtown with my super cool housemates. I miss my homies. :)

Re: A new mission?
Okay...there was an idea that was proposed to me recently that I gave some thought into but wanted to know what you guys thought....see, someone asked if I would consider being a f!rosh leader and I actually thought it would be SUPER fun..

course, when I told someone else about the idea, i was laughed at! -glare- you know who you are! hehe :) he had a really good point though. first, i don't know the engineering songs (haha pretty damned important stuff!) and i don't know how to drink. *sigh*

*sigh*....okay, i think rant's over... it's 4am and i need to get back to work..craaaap! :(

(btw, the sad thing is.... I really look forward to getting my word-of-the-day from m-w every morning! i forget 99% of the words but hey, it's the thought that counts)
