haha First of all, to all those who I told about the little rain we have here -- I LIED! Rain is all I've been seeing recently. Course, it's the substitute for the snow we were supposed to get. I'm not sure which is worse because rain is wet and well, snow shuts the city down. :)

As for me, I went out with some friends to a couple lounges over the weekend and one guy picked up royally. I mean, she was a pretty good looking blonde and a techie and wanted to hang out with him the next day. haha We were impressed :)

On monday, decided to go see a play with some other friends. We wanted to see "Wonderful Life", a production by WET (Washington Ensemble Theatre). I'd love to say that it was really good but problem is, they were sold out by the time I got there :( (Obviously it was good though) I was waitlisted and eventually i was able to get 2 tickets but since there were 5 of us, we decided to get dinner and a movie instead. haha the only movie R hadn't seen yet was Memoirs of a Geisha so that's what we decided on, and quite frankly, I really liked it! I know it didn't go parallel with the book though but as a movie, it was good and refreshing from all the other movies we've had this year.

I was going to join my friends for a trip to the outlet malls and a casino the next night but I got sick after the movie :( ended up leaving work early the next day too and stayed in bed for about 18 hours...finally a bit better today though and eating much more given recent lack of food. and because i'm a rebel, i ordered a couple dozen homemade cookies from a co-worker (his daughters are making + selling cookies to everyone) so i'll be stuffing my face tomorrow :)

Hrm. not too much else to report. Holidays are coming up and I'm looking forward to being back home :)
