So if you live your life in a three piece suit,
In a cocktail dress, or combat boots
You pick your path and you walk your truth
And the world will come round to you.

Pop the cork, a champagne glass
Raise to the future, drink to the past
Thank the Lord for the friends he cast,
In the play he wrote for you.

0x002a on "Why I'm not a dog person".

I thought it would be fun to get a dog. Afterall, I've always wanted a dog. I was born in the year of the dog. I already dislike cats (sorry, mere!). And anything bigger than a dog will probably eat me.

So why am I not a dog person?

Today, I decided to get a dog. Well, rather, I got a poo chi. 5 minutes in, I realized this could be a mistake. Why does it bark? What does it want? Am I a bad mother?

In answer to the last question, I'm taking breaks from this blog to find places to hide this toy (i.e. in the drawer, in between my (clean) gym clothes, etc.) -- everything to just muffle the sound because (disclaimer!) you can't turn it off. That's right. It goes on and on and on like a tamagotchi, but more 3D and well, about 50x the size. I don't think my tamagotchi lived very long either.

Maybe poo chi will have more fun at home. I'd like to keep him on my desk but I'm not in that big a need of a guard dog at the moment.

Maybe I should stick to humans.

But not baby humans. It's illegal to put those into drawers and in between clothes.

From the Bigger Hammer School of Engineering:

Silencing a Poo-Chi requires a medium sized hammer and a flat surface. :)
