So if you live your life in a three piece suit,
In a cocktail dress, or combat boots
You pick your path and you walk your truth
And the world will come round to you.

Pop the cork, a champagne glass
Raise to the future, drink to the past
Thank the Lord for the friends he cast,
In the play he wrote for you.

So today was yet another interesting day.

Today we had Shel Israel and Robert Scoble, authors of Naked Conversations, speak to us. After about 20 minutes, I was sadly convinced they had nothing new or enlightening to add to the blog-o-sphere. They seemed like nice guys but talking about how corporate blogging can help an image and this thing called 'syndication', etc just didn't seem to be anything anyone in the room didn't already know :(

The cool thing about the day was that I went to eat dinner in chinatown and these 4 people sat at the next table. One guy which I recognized as Brian Austin Green. Super cool :) My friend and I bombarded him as he was outside for a cigarette and got his autograph. I started the conversation with him very gracefully with a stuttering, "Are you an actor?". I guess it was a welcome change since the last guy who talked to him before me asked him for change. Anyhow, I got celeb-shock and ended up walking in the wrong direction back to work. Maybe if I meet more celebs, I could get used to this? haha riiiight. like that'll happen ;)

Last cool thing -- Ben Harper mini-concert at work yesterday! He played "Morning Yearning", "Gather Round The Stone", and "Please Don'T Talk About Murder While I'm Eating" from his new album. He remarked that our attendance was a clearly productive use of our time, to which we heartily agreed. haha and he also thanked us for all the books :)
