So if you live your life in a three piece suit,
In a cocktail dress, or combat boots
You pick your path and you walk your truth
And the world will come round to you.

Pop the cork, a champagne glass
Raise to the future, drink to the past
Thank the Lord for the friends he cast,
In the play he wrote for you.

Well...I think I just might have done it again...I'm hitting the point where I just think there aren't enough hours of day. Where's a good heuristic scheduling algorithm when you need one?

I'm stuck on a task at work and I've been told it'll look bad if I fail. As always, I have Future Blue and design project - the latter of which I haven't even TOUCHED in 2 weeks (AUGH!). And I'm also acting as a contracter on another job. There are things and people I want to see before I head off to asia too so essentially, I'm booked off every night this week. Not that I'm complaining because I like the work/social balance I have in my life and I love hanging out with my peeps, but today my mom looked at me and told me I was taking on too much work. I'm wondering if she's right...I'm really tired right now :(

Now.....can anyone fix Eclipse for me? *sniff*

Trying out a new layout for size....

Hrm...wonder how this'll work out.

Until next time (or the time after that), the bloggy's under construction!

New song of the moment....

So she said what's the problem baby
What's the problem I don't know
Well maybe I'm in love (love)
Think about it every time
I think about it
Can't stop thinking 'bout it

How much longer will it take to cure this
Just to cure it cause I can't ignore it if it's love (love)
Makes me wanna turn around and face me but I don't know nothing 'bout love

Come on, come on
Turn a little faster
Come on, come on
The world will follow after
Come on, come on
Cause everybody's after love

So I said I'm a snowball running
Running down into the spring that's coming all this love
Melting under blue skies
Belting out sunlight
Shimmering love

Well baby I surrender
To the strawberry ice cream
Never ever end of all this love
Well I didn't mean to do it
But there's no escaping your love

These lines of lightning
Mean we're never alone,
Never alone, no, no

Come on, Come on
Move a little closer
Come on, Come on
I want to hear you whisper
Come on, Come on
Settle down inside my love

--- Accidentally In Love, Counting Crows

Super fun day with joyce-san (haha sorry, joycie...somehow i just find that a really cool name to say now). We went for lunch on a patio and then headed over to find some stuff for room redecorating. We started off looking for stuff for her but haha along the way I realized that my room is seriously REALLY uncoordinated. Actually, more to the point, *I'm* really uncoordinated. Also, shopping can be really fun!

So here's where the 'girl' side of me starts coming out. It's also the weird side of me that gets really happy when I find stuff I like at IKEA. The sad/funny thing is that all I bought today was a bowl and 2 plates from IKEA and some lotion, shampoo, conditioner from shoppers. (liked the body butter from body shop but it was a little more expensive and i'm not sure if it works for me since i'm pretty choosey when it comes down to skin products :)) But, the sadder thing is that i was SUPER excited over my new bowl! haha Course, now i'm on a mission to at least get me some nicer linens so my bed doesn't look too third grade (mind the little pink and blue animals hiding behind flowers on my comforter..), mixed with some random orange bed sheet and cream-off-white pillow shams. yes, as you can see, i really don't belong here :) Interestingly enough, i think i've gone quite zen since the colors i've chosen are a clay brown with cream or grey-purple pillow shams alongside my egg-shell white dishes. it seems very plain and simple but I like it that way. :) And here we begin my little (very little) room redecoration scheme...

so, I hope you're happy, joycie --- this is ALL YOUR FAULT! :)

Oohhh...also still hoping to catch summerlicious -- looking for good recommendations! Anyone? ;)
